- SR-6 CF-ANW Tom's first airplane, it was a straight wing.
- SR-6 CF-AUS another straight wing.
- SR-9 CF-BGW "A gull-wing. Tom bought it new in Detroit. Konnie Johanason went with him to pick it up. Wallace Beary was picking his up at the same time. Crashed in Cumberland House while on a duck survey. Old Bert Cartwright was on board plus another, but I can't remember his name. They salvaged it and barged it to The Pas." (Check Dad's Ducks Unlimited book for the story and photos.)
Fairchild
- FA24 CF-GFN
- FA27 CF-GJON exported to US November 1977. Tim Hamm, Dad, Tommy and I took it from Winnipeg to Victoria BC to deliver to the guy brokering it to the US buyers. Left it parked in YYJ, and the guy flew us down to Boeing Field, Seattle in a push-pull to pick up the money. Tommy and I sat in the very back on our samsonites there and back to Vancouver.
De Havilland Canada
- DH83 CF-CSW " Tiger Moth. I used to fly it before I learned to fly. Gordy Hoffas checked me out on it going to the Saskatchewan ranch with groceries. He flew along side me with GFN. I think he sold it to Flying Farmers around Lethbridge. Stubby Ross was involved with them." GTL
- DHC-2 CF-EYW sn475 1954 exported 1990. " Donald bought it from EPA in Gander Newfoundland and flew it home, long ride because EYW took off at 85, flew at 85, and landed at 85. When he got there to pick it up they had it stripped right down to the "Stainless Steel" and scattered all over the hanger floor. When they put it together they riveted the tail end together one hole out so the stab. was off da plumb. The radio set up was the old military comand set. Pieces all over the place. I always had to carry a pocket full of crystals to plug in. Thom and I saw a couple of beavers, the same vintage, at Oshkosh. They were asking 265,000.00 on wheels."GTL
- DHC-2 CF-EYZ sn556 exported 1985 "I picked it up from Tide Water Oil Co. in Regina and flew it to Toronto to install floats. Then over to the island for fuel and home via Wawa, Red Lake, The Pas."GTL
- DHC-2T C-GUKL Dennie picked it up at the west coast from a lumber company and flew it home. This was a lovely airplane. I ended up with quite a few hours on it. They are going now for a million dollars."GTL
- DHC-3 CF-SKX sn1 "SKX Ser.#1 was DYK-X. First flight 12 Dec. 1951 RCAF 3667. Delivered 1 Nov. 1952, on indefinate loan by RCAF to deHaviland. Lambair , as SKX 1969 Geoterex Ltd Ottawa 1970. Writen off at Dunrobin Ont. 1 May 1970. " Greg "Verna and I and Mom and Dad were in Calgary when you arrived with it from TO." Sounds like Jack and Barb flew it to Calgary from Toronto. "de Havilland did all their twin otter experimenting on this airplane. Different gear confiruration, hung another engine ,PT6, on it .Big flaps and so on. They sold it to Dad for a good price and Jack and Barb, he never went anywhere without Barb, flew it to Field at Calgary and they normalized it. Dad sold it to a mining co. that wanted to attach a magnitomiter on the right wing. The DOT made them do outlandish flight tests untill the wing came off. "See we told you it wouldn't work"Greg
- DHC-3 CF-IOD sn6 "We bought it from Imperial Oil. Never did get around to painting it, then sold it years later to Fecto and as far as I know they are still operating it."GTL
- DHC-3 CF-GTL sn10 1953 "Bought from Field in Toronto. Donald and Ron Davie went and put it together, installed the engine and flew it back to The Pas. Good old airplane but the cowlings never fit. They came from an airforce hanger around TO someplace. I think it went to Airpark in Lac Du Bonnet and is still in service."GTL
- DHC-3 CF-XJM sn29 "Part of the 3 acft deal from Norway. Think it was written off at The Pas. Don't think we rebuilt her." (Bad editing and I lost Dad's entry here...tried to write it as I remembered it)

- DHC-3 CF-JON sn203 "This should have been first on the list. It was our first Otter bought from de Haviland who used it as a demonstrator in South America. Crashed in Oxford House in 15 May 1970. Pilot, Peters I think, took off from parking area half way down the runway, down wind with no flaps. The tail end caught a tall tree and pulled him down, poor old girl tried her best."GTL
- DHC-3 CF-MEL sn222 1957 Bought from DD Thompson Aviation. Jack picked it up in Northern Quebec. Connie crashed her at Whale Cove. We rebuilt her and eventualy sold her to OCA where it caught fire in the air at Red Lake on June 1996." GTL
